In order to secure a vehicle and trip for you please send us an inquiry with you intended date and we will check our vehicle and date availabilities. We will get back to you within 24 hours with the possible self drive vehicle options, timelines and rates.
Ready to secure the dates and your vehicle?
If you wish to secure the vehicle, we require a 50% of the total payment in advance. The remaining payment can be paid by VISA card or cash (USD, EUR or MNT) when you receive your vehicle in Mongolia.
Insurance
All our vehicles have both vehicle and third party liability insurances. However tires and few other things not insured by insurance companies therefore we require a refundable damage deposit of $1000USD which is to cover blown up tires, glass and other damages caused by negligence driving.
Liability insurance can cover up to 10.000 USD for damage, and let us know if you wish to increase this limit.
Deposit
Refundable damage deposit of 1,000USD shall be paid via cash at our office upon receiving your vehicle.

Below are the standard pack of on-board vehicle equipment that are included in the rental.

✓ Tool kit with necessary spare parts
(Car jack, Screwdriver, Wrench set, Socket set, Emergency triangle, Hammer, Jumper cable, Air compressor, Engine oil, Antifreeze, Steering fluid, Tool set, Lug wrench, Pilers, Fire extinguisher, First Aid)
✓ Camping kit (tent, sleeping bags, mattress, camping table, and camping chairs up to 4 pax)
✓ Cooking gears, gas stove, water container, pots and pans, forks, knives and cutlery
✓ Road map
Roof tent, power inverter, USB charger, GPS, satellite phone IRIDIUM, Jerrycan, portable refrigerator, cooler box, luggage storage are available for request.

In case of Break down
In case of a break down, inform us ASAP, so we can send our mechanical team to you. We will try to fix or repair the vehicle as soon as possible. If the vehicle is not fixable, we will send out another vehicle to replace within 48 hours depending on the location.
cancellation policy
In the case of a cancellation, please contact us in written form. Notification of cancellation must be received in writing by Drive Mongolia. At the time, we receive your written cancellation, the following penalties will apply:
✓ Up to 90 calendar days prior to departure $150 per person handling fee;
✓ 60-89 calendar days prior to departure: 10% of the trip cost per person;
✓ 30-59 calendar days prior to departure: 25% of the trip cost per person;
✓ 7-29 calendar days prior to departure: 50% of the trip cost per person;
✓ 1-7 calendar days prior to departure: no-refund.
